Flint was founded in May 2009 by Michael Krautwasser. Flint works predominantly in digital and audiovisual media, but implements classical media as well. The portfolio consists in conceiving, designing and the implementing communication media in the areas of moving images (motion graphics, animations and 3D) and information design/signage as well as in the field of online media (websites, web applications, GUI).
Michael Krautwasser grew up in southern Germany and studied communication design in Hamburg. Aged 23 he moved to Switzerland and set foot in the new media. He conceived online presences for SRG SSR and Canon (Switzerland). For the Jungfrau railway and the award ceremony “Preis Herbert” of the firm Gossweiler Media AG, which takes place annually, he created audiovisual concepts in the form of an infotainment system as well as in the form of trailers, 3D animations and musical compositions. One of his strengths is that he treats design as an integral commodity and implements this optimally within the scope of various communication media and channels.
Michael Krautwasser is open to new adventures and challenges, is a night person, not compatible with dancing, camera shy, loves to photograph and speaks HTML, CSS, Javascript and Swedish.
